Calvin Johnson

Calvin Johnson. Quiet. Calm. But oh so powerful. It's hard not to respect a man who appreciates everyone he meets and does everything he can to make them better while being an amazing filmmaker in his own right. He has a clear vision of life and what he wants his films to say. Often understated, always more than they seem, Calvin's films have an innate sensibility that contemplates the intangible forces in our lives, the symbolism in our choices and the beauty in the world around us.

Originally from Minnesota, Calvin completed his undergraduate degree at  St. Cloud State University where he studied Film.  After St. Cloud State he made his way to Savannah, Georgia and the Savannah College of Art & Design.  He recently completed his MFA in Film and Television at SCAD.



Calvin has worked on numerous films in a variety of roles.  He is willing to do anything to help a production succeed.  He brings a wide array of knowledge, a great work ethic, and an always upbeat attitude to any team.
